Happy Valentine’s Day! What are you doing to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Want to celebrate in an unconventional way? Visit,  http://www.stvalentinesday.org/legends-of-st-valentines-day.html, and get creative.  You will find a ton of Valentine’s Day fun. Valentine’s Day games, songs, jokes, quotes, party ideas and even Valentine history. You might be surprised, or not, that Valentine’s day is a mystery that tells 3 potential legends of St. Valentine. The entire site is dedicated to love and romance including lists of movies and books to read if you want to celebrate a little differently.I myself am a little unconventional and like the unusual.
Here’s another site, if you are a game player, http://www.gamebrew.com/list/valentines-games/1.
My own Valentine’s Day philosophy is that it is not just a day for lovers but a day of appreciation. Self appreciation and spreading positive thoughts that are warm and embracing to everyone. If you are single celebrate, throw a party or read a romance novel. Do whatever you want but partake in Valentine’s Day by reaching out to others to spread love and happiness.
Valentine’s Day does not have to cost a thing. There is value in making someone else feel special.
My Top 10 Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day

Just being you, getting to know others  and sharing positive thoughts is enough. If you sit in front of the television set by yourself or with a loved one, appreciate doing what you enjoy. Take pleasure in what and who you love.
No need to fall into marketing traps that have you spending excess money padding other people’s pockets, eating excess food or junk that has nothing to do with love or romance or doing anything that does not really celebrate who you really are. “The National Retail Federation (NRF), says Americans will spend nearly $18
billion on Valentine’s Day this year, with the average guy expecting to shell
out about $168, according to a survey commissioned by the organization. Women
say they’ll spend about half that amount.” according to Reuters in 2012, http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/09/us-spending-valentines-idUSTRE8182E320120209.
Valentines Day is a day to be pampered and we should celebrate ourselves but if we took a portion of that and donated it to people or animals in need, it would help those in need, especially when Valentine’s Day cards get thrown in the trash at $5.00 or more a pop, http://www.nbcnews.com/business/stores-play-our-hearts-wallets-valentines-day-1C7100862.
Valentine’s Day is what you make of it. It is a day to celebrate love. We all love. No matter if you are alone or part of a couple, celebrate yourself and the power you have to make others feel valued on Valentine’s Day.
If there is anyone else who prefers to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a different way, please share your ideas.
