How The Lazy Days of Summer May Help You Lose Weight

Summer is in full swing. I am feeling the, “Lazy Hazy Crazy Days”, how about you?
So many happy occasions, we’ve had a wedding, a 40th birthday bash, my sons 1st birthday, too many other family birthdays, BBQ’s, a few really enjoyable “staycations” and many memorable moments.
Are u relaxing? Taking the time to enjoy the season? Focusing on all the positive aspects in your life? I hope so. Life is what you make it.
There are those who believe that when you are not stressed and life is good you are not as focused on food. If this is true for you, you know what to do…center the focus of your diet on rest and relaxation. Instead of worrying about food, focus on the good aspects of your life, whatever it may be.

For me a song that I relate to good times can trigger positive feelings that make me happy and feel satisfied while replacing other feelings of anger or anxiety. So, for example when I hear this song,  http://www.lyricsfreak.com/w/will+smith/summertime_20146987.html,   I remember block parties, water balloon fights, and summer love….and in no way am I thinking of cheesecake or hot fudge sundaes.
