Of course, we start at Hershey Chocolate World and go on the the “chocolate” tour . It explains how chocolate is made. At the end, you get a couple of Hershey kisses.
I decided I was not going to inhale mine but savor it. So I take a small bite and notice that the inside is a honey comb chocolate inside,  not solid chocolate. Is this a brand of the “kiss” or is this specific to the ride? Oh well it’s free and it was good… I’m thinking it is likely a money-saving tactic by Hershey.
We went outside enjoyed the entertainment and then the gang wanted to get a bite too eat. I got a salad so I was happy. For dessert, I opted for a hot chocolate.
My mind conjured up a thick rich chocolately treat but it was not chocolatey or creamy, it tasted watered down. So, I switched it for a coffee.
I get to thinking this is not what I expected. The chocolate expectation in my head was not the same as my actual experience. And I decided to do something I never would have dreamed of at Hershey. I declined any chocolate and had a good time without it. Everyone enjoyed the park, it was not too big or too small, we all had a an amazing time at the amusement park! And I didn’t miss the chocolate, thanks to my state of mind.
